Dove Cottage sleeps 4 and it has a cot. It is a two storey cottage adjoining Chestnut House which has its own entrance and largely faces away from the main house so it is not overlooked. There are views over the fields to Longstone Edge and towards Bakewell and Chatsworth

From the driveway and garden you enter the cottage through a stable door into a hallway/dining area. This leads into a separate kitchen with views over the garden. The modern unfitted kitchen units house an electric oven and halogen hob, a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. The lounge is at a higher level and has a beamed ceiling with comfortable seating for four and a log burning stove.

The stairs lead to two cottage style bedrooms (one double and one twin-bedded) and the brand new shower room has a corner shower unit, toilet and washbasin. Dove Cottage has gas central heating (the first £10 of each fuel is included (£5 for short breaks), a first supply of logs is provided and there is a DVD player/radio/CD player and flat screen TV. No smoking inside.
