This attractive cottage dates back to the 17 century and is set down a long track overlooking open countryside. The cottage is set in a delighful location taking in stunning views across to kinder scout in the pretty village of Hayfield.

This cottage is a mountain biking and walkers dream, with excellent bridleway and footpath running directly out of the front and back gates of the property. Also close by are the sett valley trail and kinder scout. Within a few miles are the villages of castleton, eyam, edale and holmfrith. The spa town of buxton and the market town of bakewell are also nearby.

The cottage is situated just half a mile out of the village where there are many pubs, restaurants, post office, chemist and village store. The owner lives next door so is on hand to deal with any questions that you may have during your stay.

Accommodation

The cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard, whilst retaining many original features.

Lounge with inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove together with low celing and traditional beams. Dining kitchen with range of fitted cupboards, built in electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine.

Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin.

First floor

One double bedroom with a range of fitted wardrobes. One twin bedded room.
