Bloomfield House situated in Bakewell, a recently refurbished
spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms above The Bakewell Tart
Shop on Matlock Street with a separate entrance and free private
secured overnight parking.
You can enjoy preparing your own meals or just pop into The
Bakewell Tart Shop to enjoy traditional cooked food, full
english breakfast, award winning pies and of course the famous
Traditional Bakewell Tart, recently featured on BBC 2 The
Great British Menu. Any food eaten in our Coffee Shop
will receive a discount. We can prepare picnics for you and
can arrange for tours around Derbyshire in a minibus. This
would have to be booked in advance of your stay, or check
availability when you arrive.
An ideal location for walking, sight seeing including Chatsworth
House, Haddon Hall, Buxton, Matlock Bath, Monsal Head and
much more plus everything that Bakewell has to offer, good
pubs, swimming pool, library, shopping, Farmers Markets and
agricultural centre.
Accommodation on 2 floors (3 bedrooms, Sleeps 7)
The accommodation consists of a fully fitted kitchen with
electric cooker, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
A large dining area with seating for 6 persons and lounge
with leather corner suite and tv/dvd, the centre of the accommodation
where you can relax and enjoy your holiday together.
A large family bathroom with separate shower cubicle on the
1st floor and king size bed in the main bedroom, along with
a single bed plus cot. A spiral staircase leads to a second
king size bedroom, and a double bedroom with feature ornate
fireplace and ensuite.
