Situated in the picturesque village of Winster, Gingerbread Cottage is an idyllic detached stone cottage sleeping up to 4 people and offers a tranquil yet central location in the village. Some 200 years old the cottage is believed to have originally been the local cobblers house and workshop. The local village shop and pub are only a minute's stroll away.

On the ground floor of Gingerbread Cottage there is a comfortable lounge which has exposed oak beams to the ceiling. There is a large sofa and armchair, TV, DVD, stereo and a selection of books, magazines and games. The long window from the lounge overlooks the pretty and secluded patio and outdoor seating area.

From the lounge a doorway leads into a combined Kitchen/Dining room with exposed oak beam ceiling, oak lintels and a traditional stone fireplace. The recently refurbished kitchen area is well equipped with electric hob, electric built under oven and grill, belfast sink, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave oven, kettle and toaster. Seating and dining space for four is provided.

On the first floor there is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom. The twin bedroom has a partially exposed oak beamed ceiling, traditional sliding sash window, 2 single beds, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers; if required, space can be made for a cot (please ask on booking).

The bathroom has a full sized bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.

The double bedroom has a traditional stone fireplace two traditional sliding sash window, and contains a double bed, chest of drawers and a double built in wardrobe.

ALL THE ROOMS ARE CENTRALLY HEATED AND BED LINEN, TOWELS AND TEA TOWELS ARE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL.

One well behaved dog, but, sorry, no smokers. Short breaks are available from October to Easter.
