Winn Cottage is named after the hill between Nether Bradbourne
and Kniveton known as The Winn. Winn Cottage is steeped in
historical features including the original stone flagged steps
and mullioned windows on the outside of the barn.
Winn is finished to an exceptionally high standard with contemporary
furniture mixed with antique pieces giving a very comfortable
but high quality feel. The cottage has all modern amenities
you could need blending perfectly with the original 17 Century
features of this classic Derbyshire building.
This cottage provides a place to escape to, you can throw
a log on the wood burner, then slide into those Egyptian cotton
sheets, relax and feel the peace and quiet the Derbyshire
Countryside can offer.
This owner also has two other cottages (Haven
2 bed sleeps 4 and Dumble
1bed sleeps 2) in Bradbourne which can sleep up to 14 in total.
Accommodation (4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8)
There are 2 double rooms and 2 double or twin rooms.
On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms and a
bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor is located another bedroom and the main
bathroom with bath and shower over. The sitting room with
comfy chairs, flat screen TV, DVD CD with ipod dock and log
burner. There are books, games, dvds and wireless internet
connection for you to use. Next is the kitchen dining room.
The kitchen has new solid oak kitchen units. The views from
the first floor across the valley are superb.
Winn has a large private fenced patio area with table and
chairs as well as a barbecue and chimnea for dining out. Behind
Winn is the paddock where you can walk down to the stream
or sit and relax and watch the sun go down.
Heating and water are run from an air source heat pump with
underfloor heating throughout
