Nestling on the Hillside of Matlock Bath, Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District. Matlock Bath is a very picturesque village, with houses scattered on the hill side. Close to the banks of the River Derwent, overlooked by "High Tor" and "Wild Cat Tor" and wonderful views and walks near by.

The Apartment has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The attention to detail and no expense spared, with original exposed floor boards, co-ordinated furniture, carpets, dimmed lighting and soft furnishings is apparent as soon as you arrive at the property in its secure surroundings. The apartment will sleep 4 people very comfortably, but an occasional bed is available for a 5th person. Fully equipped with central heating fully fitted kitchen and everything else you will need for a relaxing break.

Sitting room

This homely sitting room is very tastefully decorated, with an original fire place. Well complimented with fine furnishings from both Huckleberry Willow (Chesterfield) and local antique shops. Although this is a large room, it is still very cosy. Lighting is a key attribute to the feel of a living room. This room is well equipped with table lamps, and dimmer switches. The windows view onto the courtyard, and the wooded hill side.

Kitchen

The Brand new fitted kitchen equipped with fridge, dishwasher, washer-dryer, electric oven & gas hobs, microwave, dining area. All the cutlery, crockery and glassware that you will need. The original floorboards to give its quality look and there is a view from the kitchen window onto the courtyard.

Bathroom

The bathroom is fully equipped with powerful shower over bath, Toilet, Hand basin, Hair dryer. The Original wooden floor boards adds to the charm.

The Master bedroom

We believe that rest is the most important part of a good holiday and a comfortable bed is therefore essential. With a high quality mattress, fine cotton bed linen, non-allergenic duvet and pillows all provided. We hope that you will be assured of a good night’s sleep. This is a large bedroom, fully utilising its space. With plenty of storage for all your clothes, and a comfortable seating area for your morning tea or coffee. The stripped floorboards make this a cosy and inviting room.

Double Bedroom

The 2nd double bedroom is probably the cosiest room in the apartment. With Stripped original floorboards and good use of Edwardian furniture. A great view of the courtyard. Using a high quality mattress, fine cotton bed linen, non-allergenic duvet and pillows.

Courtyard

Relaxing or sitting area, off-road parking at night, secure garage for Bicycles, use of barbeque, outdoor table tennis available on request.
