| Nestled in the wooded grounds of Ford Wetley House, in the
Staffordshire Peak District National Park, the holiday cottage
is the ideal place to retreat to. The old dairy was converted
in 1997 retaining a lot of the original features.

on and go exploring! The choice is yours, in fact youll
be spoilt for choice. Whether its adventure and action
at Alton Towers, just 7 miles away, rock climbing on the stunning
cliffs and crags, getting dirty on a mountain bike which can
be hired locally or just a good long walk around Dovedale,

maybe youre after a more relaxing time, a stroll around
the excellent Blackbrook zoological park just one mile away

& Bakewell. Take a trip down memory lane on the Churnet
Valley Steam Railway or visit the place that inspired Rudyard
Kiplings parents. Or just get some of the fantastic
local foods and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the cottage
and all the wildlife that comes to visit. Its so peaceful,
no road noise to be heard, just the birds and the sheep, the
ultimate in tranquility!
Location
Ford Wetley Cottage is situated about half a mile outside
the picture postcard hamlet of Ford. Away from the main house
and secluded by trees, in fact you cant see another

A one mile walk across the field gets you to Onecote, where
there is an excellent cafe open on the weekends and the Jervis
Arms pub. With several other pubs within a few miles.
