| Manifold Farm can be found in a perfect tranquil setting on
the western edge of Chatsworth's historic Shottle estate overlooking
the beautiful Ecclesbourne valley about three miles south of
the pretty market town of Wirksworth in Derbyshire.
Formerly a dairy farm, the farmstead with its attractive
stone built farmhouse and courtyard range of farm buildings,
has been converted to provide five spacious and very comfortable
holiday cottages. Each cottage has its own secure garden with
garden furniture, ample car parking, shared grounds and use
of the games room/play area.
The farmstead stands in a wonderfully rural position with
distant views on all sides and yet is only a short travelling
distance from the motorways to the south and the Peak District
to the north.
Manifold Farm has everything that you and your family or
a group of friends would need to enjoy a relaxing or indeed
active holiday. A network of footpaths on the doorstep offer
a variety of walks within this stunning rolling countryside;
beautiful Carsington Water only four miles away provides opportunities
for watersports, cycling, fishing, bird watching and picnicking
on the water's edge and of course for children there is Alton
Towers less than half an hour's drive away.
