In the heart of The Peak District, situated in Monsal Dale,
one of Derbyshire's finest Dales, 3 miles north of the delightful
market town of Bakewell.
The holiday cottages at Riversdale Farm (not a working farm)
are situated in an idyllic location on the banks of the river
Wye. Surrounded by magnificent countryside and home to abundant
wildlife, they provide a haven of peace, yet are within easy
reach of the many Peak District attractions. Whatever your
age or interests, whether walking (many walks from the door)
fishing, cycling, horse riding, sight seeing or simply enjoying
peace and quiet, you will find Riversdale Farm a perfect place
to take a break.
Fishermen can obtain day tickets for fly fishing, just a
few yards along the road during the season (April-October).
As with all the Chatsworth Estate Holiday Cottages, for weekly
bookings at Riversdale all guests are provided with a free
entrance ticket for a visit to Chatsworth House and Garden
(when open) during their stay. Special rates are also given
for the use of the sports facilities at Chatsworth, which
include a gymnasium, sauna, tennis court and indoor swimming
pool.
Greenhills - 2 bedrooms, sleeps four / five
Adjacent to the caretaker's cottage, sympathetically and tastefully
converted from an 18th century barn. Sleeps 4/5 people.
Brackendale - 2 bedrooms, sleeps four / five

Both cottages comprises
An upstairs with one double bedroom, one twin room. Bathroom
with shower over bath. Downstairs includes a good sized living
room. Homely and comfortable with quality sofabed for an extra
guest. Flat screen TV, DVD/VCR and Radio/CD/ Cassette player.
Bathrooms to include showers over the baths, divan beds and
mattresses, bed linen and towels, curtains and decorations,
slimline panel heating, sofas and armchairs in the living
rooms, electrical goods including, crockery, cutlery and glassware
