| Hey Cottage, a charming 3-bedroomed semi-detached Victorian
cottage situated at the base of Kinder Scout, is within a few
minutes walk of the centre of Hayfield Village. Hayfield on
the edge of the Peak National Park boasts a number of excellent
pubs, shops and restaurants and is ideally located for those
interested in walking, biking or riding. The house is in a quiet
cul-de-sac with off-road parking and a beautiful garden with
spectacular views across the surrounding hills.
Newly furnished throughout, the house offers spacious accommodation,
sleeping up to six people in two double and one twin bedrooms.
The house is double-glazed and centrally heated with a coal
fire in the living room and a wood-burning stove in the master
bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped including a washing
machine, tumble-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and mini-stereo
system.
The living room which leads off a small entrance lobby from
the street is comfortably furnished and is equipped with a
wide-screen colour television and a DVD-player. The original
coal-burning fireplace is fully functional.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms. The first is a
bright room with a Queen-sized double bed. The second bedroom
is fitted with twin single-beds and overlooks the garden.
The modern bathroom is fitted with a Victorian-style pedestal
bath as well as a separate shower booth.
The spacious Master Bedroom which occupies the entire top
floor is furnished with a Queen-sized double bed, two easy
chairs and a television and DVD player. The room has a wood-burning
stove.
The traditional cottage garden to the rear of the house is
terraced. At the top of the garden is a sitting area with
magnificent views over the top of the houses to the countryside
beyond.
Midway down the garden is a wooden deck set out with a table
and chairs for dining alfresco. A charcoal barbeque is also
provided.
Bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating and coal
are included in the price.
