| Pike Barns are located in a rural location on the owners
working farm in the High Peak from where you can enjoy some
wonderful views, undertake good walking, but at the same time
being within an easy drive of the historic spa town of Buxton
and the pretty market town of Bakewell.
The Hayloft Taddington (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4)
You enter the barn which has been turned upside down to provide
spacious character accommodation throughout with fabrics and
furnishings having been tastefully co-ordinated. The bedrooms
on the ground floor are both a good size, the main bedroom
has a double bed, the second bedroom having two single beds,
wood floors adding to its charm.
The bathroom on this floor has a bath with shower over, hand
basin and toilet.
The stairs lead to the spacious and open kitchen dining and
lounge area, with wooden floors and feature vaulted ceiling
with exposed beams trusses giving the room great charm and
character.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential equipment
you will require for your stay.
There is a sitting out area to the front of the property
and further grounds are available for use by visitors as advised
by the owners.
Meadow Cottage (3 bedrooms, sleeps 6)
This spacious barn has been converted to provide similar
but more spacious character accommodation, with the bedrooms
on the ground floor, similar to The Hayloft.
You enter into the main hallway of which are the two ground
floor bedrooms, the main bedroom with a double bed the second
having two single beds.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over hand basin and toilet.
The stairs lead to the spacious open plan kitchen which is
fully equipped, and is open to the dining and lounge area
with exposed king post trusses and beams, wooden floors and
occasional rugs adding to its welcoming warm charm.
Off this area is the third bedroom with a double bed and
the second bathroom with shower , hand basin and toilet.
There is a sitting out area to the front of the property
and further grounds are available for use by visitors as advised
by the owners.
