| This cottage is around 200 years old and is adjacent to the
owners own cottage. Guests can share use of the private
garden and patio which has its own brook running through it.
Off road parking is available on the private driveway. It is
in a very quiet location but only 50 yards from the village
market place with many local amenities including 4 pubs serving
food and an organic bakers.
Accommodation
The cosy cottage, a 2 up 2 down designed for 1 or 2 persons
and it has been modernised to a high standard. It is centrally
heated throughout. Its quirky in that the living room
and kitchen are upstairs whilst the bedroom and bathroom are
on the ground floor. This is to make the best of the view
towards the nearby village of Fritchley.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, a table and chairs,
a TV/DVD, a Radio/CD player and has a feature fireplace. There
is a selection of games, books, DVDs and tourist literature
provided. The kitchen has a gas cooker and fridge with freezer
compartment. There is a queen size double bed with storage
drawers, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom has a
self contained shower, sink and loo.
We provide all linen, utensils, crockery and some essential
supplies (you wont need your salt and pepper!). There
is also lockable storage for bikes and any other leisure items
(climbing ropes etc.). There is a no smoking policy in the
cottage for the comfort of all our guests. Unfortunately pets
cannot be accommodated.
