Some time ago, the building that is now Garden Cottage was converted into accommodation from outbuildings by previous owners of the house. The new owners have taken great pleasure in modernising and upgrading these lovely old stone buildings and they now offer high quality and generously proportioned facilities for just two people.

Garden Cottage is a galley building on one level, with all of the rooms in one line, facing south. In summer therefore, all of the rooms enjoy the sunshine.

Accommodation (1 bedroom, sleeps 2)

The living room

This very comfortable space has a solid fuel burner for those cold winter evenings, a CD/DVD player and a large widescreen television. The lounge is a great place to relax or to retreat to when the weather isn't co-operating.

The Dining Kitchen

Bright, modern and fully equipped with stone worktops and a slate floor, the kitchen diner is everything you'd want in accommodation of this standard. There is also a separate entry door into the building via the kitchen in the event of muddy boots!

The Bedroom

The theme of comfort and luxury is carried through into the bedroom, with a large double bed, TV and clothes storage.

The Bathroom

The bathroom features both a free-standing bath and a separate walk-in shower. Bright and warm with a towel radiator and slate floor, it's everything you'll need to complete your stay.

Outside

Immediately in front of the cottage is a gardened and cobbled courtyard area with furniture for sitting out. A private off road parking space is located very close by in the courtyard of the main house and access to the cottage from the parking is via a small number of steps.
