the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage is full of character and over
300 years old.
Less than 100 yards from the village shop and pub and within
walking distance (approx. one mile) of Carsington Water, with
a range of leisure activities including watersports and birdwatching,
Pebble Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Peak
District and the historic towns of Ashbourne, Matlock, Belper
and Wirksworth. Alton Towers is just a 35 minute drive away.
Accommodation (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4)
The cosy lounge has original exposed beams and a feature
fireplace with a wood burning stove. Off the lounge is the
kitchen/dining area with window seat and all the essential
equipment including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher
and washer/dryer.
The bathroom is also on the ground floor with bath and shower
over, hand basin and toilet.
Stairs lead from the kitchen to the two bedrooms on the first
floor, one with a double bed and the other with two single
beds (more suitable for children), both with exposed beams.
Outside there is a delightful mature garden with garden table,
chairs and barbecue.
